500 Startups today announced the 28 startups that will make up Batch 8 and head into the accelerator program in their new SOMA offices. Among those companies is one from right here in Downtown Vegas: primeloop.
Thomas Knoll co-founded primeloop, alongside Mike Ciklin, after leaving his previous role as the Community Architect at Zappos. They designed it to specifically help brands and agencies keep their sanity when tracking the different press pieces they have out in cyberspace.
Users can designate specific stories they are interested in primeloop tracking, be it a video, press release, or blog post. From there, primeloop will start monitoring all the comments, conversations, engagements, and shares of the press piece.
You’ll be notified whenever one of the conversations about the press piece takes off so you can easily jump back into the conversation from your personalized dashboard. This all operates on the underlying philosophy that re-engaging in public conversations can build trust and loyalty for your brands.
500 Startups is definitely excited to have these companies in their accelerator, and Downtown Vegas is excited to have a player in the big leagues of Batch 8. We wish you the best of luck, primeloop, Knoll, and Ciklin!
