My Experience with Hostinger Horizons
As a fan of Hostinger’s website builder, I was excited to test out its foray into vibe coding. My initial impressions were positive.
You’re greeted with a familiar, chatbot-style interface. Hostinger took a little longer than Base44 to respond to my initial prompt, but I liked that it asked follow-up questions to get a better understanding of what I was looking for.
Once it had prompted me to clarify a few details, Horizons built a decent site, with neat details like a sign-up form. While it was quite basic aesthetically, it’s hard to argue with the bonus functionality.
Hostinger Horizons Key Features
In this section, I’ll take you through some of Hostinger Horizon’s key features.
Does Hostinger Horizons let you create apps with text prompting?
Yes, Hostinger Horizons lets you create web apps and web pages through text prompting. This is the basis of the platform, and an area in which it excels. Like a lot of its contemporaries, Hostinger Horizons is built around a simple chatbot-style interface.

I was impressed by the interface, which is sleeker and more inviting than Base44’s, in my opinion. After I’d submitted my prompt, it took Horizons approximately two minutes to unpack it, before it came back with some follow-up questions.
This is a key area in which Horizons diverges from Base44. While the latter took my initial prompt and quickly turned it into a “best guess” version of what I was looking for, Hostinger Horizons deployed a more measured approach.
In this respect, it’s a better fit for users who are more concerned with quality control than fast shipping.

With the clarification it needed to proceed, Hostinger Horizons went to work. In total, it spent around 10 minutes creating the project management platform that I’d asked for — a considerable amount of time.
To mitigate potential boredom, Hostinger Horizons guides you through a short step-by-step guide. It’s a neat touch to familiarize users with the platform, and you can cycle through the prompts at will to commit tips to memory.

Finally, my project management program was ready. Impressively, Horizons had created a landing page for the product, with sign-up and log-in CTAs included.
The default copy was pretty basic and littered with buzzwords, but Horizons had already far exceeded my expectations in terms of delivery. And anyway, I had the option to edit it myself.

Does Hostinger Horizons let you add user accounts?
Yes, Hostinger Horizons lets you add user accounts. Thanks to its full-stack capabilities, the platform will let you store key information in the backend, including signup and login information.
I did experience some difficulties while testing the platform. I was provisioned with login information during the generation process, but opted to sign up with new details to see how Horizons would fare with original data.
I submitted my information, and was taken to my dashboard. So far, so good. However, when I tried to select “Team View,” my web app was unable to comply with the request.
After a few unsuccessful attempts, I went back to the vibe coding bot. It took a few minutes to diagnose the issue, which it attributed to my login information. Unfortunately, the platform was still unable to resolve the problem.

I found myself trapped in a loop. Horizons would diagnose an issue, supposedly rectify it, and then assure me that my app was now working as intended. Ultimately, this continued until I exhausted my free credits, which left me feeling quite frustrated.
I experienced a very similar issue while testing Base44. Both platforms delivered an excellent experience marred by frustrating performance issues.
Ultimately, though, technical issues are to be expected of nascent software, especially on the free plan. My guess would be that the paid Horizons plans boast more reliable performance.
Can you sell online with Hostinger Horizons?
Yes, you can sell online with Hostinger Horizons. Opt for the Starter plan ($13.99 per month) or above, and you’ll be able to sell subscriptions, as well as physical and digital products.
What’s more, with built-in tools for optimizing AI visibility, you are more likely to be picked up in AI search — so your products are more likely to be discovered.
Impressively, Hostinger Horizons is the only vibe coding platform on the market to offer comprehensive native ecommerce capabilities. On the Starter plan and above, you’ll be able to manage up to 1,000 products through a dedicated store manager.
While you can also sell online with Lovable and Bolt.new, it is only via a Stripe integration. Replit, meanwhile, can spin up an ecommerce site from a prompt, but it will lack a pre-built merchant dashboard.
Can you edit code with Hostinger Horizons?
Yes, you can edit code with Hostinger Horizons, but only on the Hobbyist plan ($39.99 per month) and up.
As a no-code platform, it is fundamentally designed so that users do not need any technical expertise. However, developers who prefer to have granular control over the codebase will be pleased to know that it is possible on higher Horizons plans.
With most vibe coding platforms, the user can manipulate the coding environment. However, the degree of control afforded to the user varies from solution to solution.
Replit, for example, is an integrated development environment (IDE) which allows for real-time code editing access. It’s better-suited for technically proficient developers looking to build and ship products quickly.
At the other end of the spectrum, Lovable deploys a simple visual editor to allow users to click on and change elements as they see fit. Access to code must be enabled by toggling on “Dev Mode.” It’s built for users with no technical experience, including product managers looking to test MVPs and casual users.
Is Hostinger Horizons Easy to Use?
Yes, Hostinger Horizons is exceptionally easy to use. With its simple chatbot interface, Horizons will be immediately familiar to anyone who has used ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or an equivalent program in the last few years.
Unlike Base44, Horizons will ask you follow-up questions to clarify outstanding details after your initial prompt. These questions are simple to understand and, if you’re unsure, the platform will provide you with a few different options to choose between.
Horizons deploys a visual editor so that users can make changes directly to their application without needing to manipulate the underlying code. For static text elements, this is as simple as clicking and replacing the copy.
Like a lot of AI-generated copy, the placeholder copy is very basic. Luckily, it’s easy to change it. Source: Tech.co testing
For larger changes, you’ll have to issue follow-up instructions to the chatbot, but this is a simple process. You might be required to “Refresh Preview” to see your new changes in situ, and while I experienced difficulties in trying to resolve an issue in this way, I was using the rudimentary free plan.
How Much Does Hostinger Horizons Cost?
Hostinger Horizons has four pricing plans, which you can learn about below. For a quick at-a-glance overview of how these plans compare, check out the table below.
Explorer plan — $6.99 per month
The Explorer plan will allow you to create one website, add user accounts and login information, and get found by AI tools online. You won’t get access to a free domain, but you will get a free mailbox to accompany your website for one year.
It’s a great option for small business owners looking to build simple web apps, such as a social media platform, while keeping costs low. At the same time, it should be considered by users who want to build a cheap portfolio with minimal technical input.
Starter plan — $13.99 per month
The Starter plan ups your website allowance to 25, adds priority 24/7 customer support, and allows you to sell products and subscriptions online. You’ll also get a free domain for one year, and two free mailboxes per website for one year.
With its increased AI credit allowance, the Starter plan is a great option for business owners with more complex technical needs, as you will be able to refine your web app in more detail.
Hobbyist plan — $39.99 per month
The main addition to the Hobbyist plan is the inclusion of code editing. This will allow users to fine-tune code in the backend for a greater level of control over the finished product. You’ll also get access to 200 AI credits per month, and the ability to duplicate products to use as templates.
Because they can edit the code directly and extensively refine prompts, the Hobbyist plan is a great fit for small business owners with a clear picture of what they want their product to look like.
Hustler plan — $79.99 per month
The most expensive Hostinger Horizons plan ups your monthly AI credits to 400, and gives users early access to new features. With the platform still in development and new features being rolled out regularly, subscribers to this plan will benefit from first-mover advantage.
Due to the five free mailboxes with each website, the Hustler plan is a great fit for businesses looking to create web apps with many users, such as an online gaming platform.

Hostinger Horizons Alternatives
Hostinger Horizons is not the only vibe coding platform on the market. Depending on your business case, there are several alternatives worth considering.
Base44, for example, is another easy-to-use platform aimed at both coding novices and software developers looking to quickly validate MVPs. With its one-click deployment and built-in hosting, it’s a great solution for users who want to see the fruits of their labor straight away.
Another option is Replit, which requires far more technical expertise than is required of Horizons and Base44 users. If you fall into this bracket, it’s a powerful tool for building complex apps with near-complete autonomy.
Lovable, meanwhile, is built for non-technical users. With its signature visual builder, it’s an accessible entrance to the world of vibe coding that should appeal to first-time users.

At Tech.co, research is an integral part of the reviewing and ranking process for business software. After all, how you can trust our judgement when it comes to platform recommendations if we aren't making a comprehensive effort to evaluate them in a real way?
For vibe coding platforms, our expert team of writers and editors took time with a variety of resources, including online guides, documentation, and pricing pages, to see what was on offer.
On top of that we also made sure to get hands-on experience, in order to get a feel for how the platforms actually operate.
More specifically, we focused on the features and functionalities that are available with particular vibe coding platforms, so we can more effectively compare and contrast what is available. Here are some of the criteria with which we review vibe coding platforms.
- Full-stack capabilities: Full-stack describes a platform's ability to generate and customize apps on the frontend and backend. Not all platforms can do both, which is why we took this into consideration when evaluating vibe coding options.
- Customization: Platforms have varying levels of customizability, allowing you to change how apps look with specific tools, like drag-and-drop editors, so you can understand what kind of control you have over your generated apps.
- Integrations: Vibe coding platforms, like most business software, can integrate with other services, like GitHub, Stripe, and Slack, so we make sure to evaluate how extensive these kinds of integrations are for each platform.
- Ease of use: Vibe coding platforms can get confusing fast, which is why we analyzed how easy it is to actually use the platform and navigate its features.
- Coding importance: Some of the options reviewed are true no-code platforms, while others are very code-heavy, which is why we look at this metric to understand exactly how technical you need to be to use it.
