Picture It On Canvas: Photo Retouching Right in Your Hands

Picture It On Canvas is a San Diego based photo printing service that transforms users’ cherished photos into handcrafted works of art, and today they released their first ever mobile app. Pitcture It Retouched offers professional photo retouching services to users on both Android and iOS.

“We have been focused on creating quality, hand-crafted products,” says Bob McKeon, CEO, Picture It On Canvas. “This service is the next step allowing users to have hand-retouched photos for an even better experience. We have seen a demand for more customization and with the photo retouching service, users can create a professional-looking retouched canvas from the convenience of their phone.”

The Picture it on Canvas website already has upload functionality that users can tap via their desktops of Instagram accounts. When it comes to the Picture It Retouched app though, users are afforded a new feature to order a photo retouching by simply selecting it from their phone; all a user has to do is tap on the photo where they would like their retouching done.

From there, the information is sent to a certified professional editor who hand-retouches the photo per the user’s request. Users can then see the photo in the app before selecting which products, including canvas, metal, and slate, they want to add to the final copy.

In an effort to help promote the new app, Picture It On Canvas is offering first time users a free trial of the app where they can see the retouched version of their photos. And to ensure that everything runs smoothly, the Picture It On Canvas team partnered with Krome Photos to power the service and build a solid user experience.
