Poll: What’s The Hottest DC Early-Stage Startup?

With our Startup Mixology Conference coming up next week followed by our classic Tech Cocktail DC Summer mixer which will showcase a handful of early-stage DC area startups, we thought it would be fun to do a quick community poll. While DC has birthed a number of start-ups that have found great success over the years from AOL, K12, HealthCentral and Blackboard to a newer crop of companies such as SBNation, ClearSpring, OPower, and LivingSocial, we wanted to find out the hottest early-stage startups in the area. What do we define as an early-stage startup? One that is just getting started, is bootstrapping or hasn’t raised much funding (Series A or less) and has just launched or only been around a few years. They are still getting traction, but have a bright future ahead!

Take the poll and select the startup that you think is the most likely to succeed. We may have forgotten some great startups so be sure to write them in if your favorite DC area startup is missing. Also be sure to share the poll with a friend. If you aren’t familiar with some of these companies you might want to subscribe to our updates via email (on the right rail of TechCocktail.com), Twitter or Facebook as you may enjoy our daily coverage. The polls close at midnight EST on June 15th.
