All that glitters is not gold. Or however that aphorism goes. It doesn't matter. Because glitter is evil. But you know what's maybe more evil? Your enemies. Hence, a new service has popped up overnight: Ship Your Enemies Glitter. You read that correctly – and you can ship one of your dear, dear, worst enemies (or even best friends) some glitter explosion through the mail.
This service seems fun, fantastic, and best of all: it's 100 percent real. It was posted on Product Hunt about eight hours ago (and submitted on Reddit ten hours ago), and the service has picked up a lot of upvotes on both sites since it was first posted. Which really shouldn't surprise anyone considering the truths that the site purports, such as:
“We fucking hate glitter. People call it the herpes of the craft world. What we hate more though are the soulless people who get their jollies off by sending glitter in envelopes.”
and regarding its authenticity:
“Yes, you fucking idiot. We spent too much time, money & resources putting this shit hole of a website up to not get paid for it.”
So much candor, but, I mean, the company makes great points. Glitter sucks. And we hate it even more when it's thrown at us unexpectedly – like in a tacky wedding invite from that friend in college who was always a hot mess and is now the queen of #basic. So, why not create a service around it?
According to the Ship Your Enemies Glitter FAQ, all you have to do is simply click the buy button, enter the address for whom you'd like to send the glitter, and then just pay the $9.99AUD (that's Australian dollars, so, $8.14 in US currency) through PayPal. Once that's settled, the company will ship a letter to your worst enemy, which will unknowingly contain said glitter. The letters are completely anonymous, so the person on the receiving end will never find out it was from you.
If that doesn't have you convinced, read some of the great reviews about Ship Your Enemies Glitter:
