Tech.Co has learned that the Washington, D.C.-based Power Supply has acquired the Los Angeles, CA-based kitchen and meal delivery program eliteEATS and the D.C.-based health food delivery service Healthy Bites.
According to an email sent earlier today by District Capital Partners, which served as the financial advisor to these acquisitions, Power Supply’s acquisition of Healthy Bites and eliteEATS will enable the company to expand their reach in the D.C. region, as well as expand into the Los Angeles market.
From the looks of it, the acquisitions actually may have occurred at a much earlier period. A blog post from March seems to indicate that Healthy Bites was acquired nearly two months ago. Less clear is when eliteEATS was acquired by Power Supply.
Power Supply offers a weekly delivery service of paleo, mixitarian, and vegetarian ready-to-eat meals. The service offers 3- and 5-day recurring plans that deliver the meals to designated pickup spots (such as local gyms and fitness studios). It’s currently available for those located in Los Angeles and D.C. Power Supply was one of the first six porfolio companies of Disruption Corporation’s Crystal Tech Fund.
