Here’s How to Turn Off Notifications for Facebook Live Videos

Whenever Facebook comes out with a brand new update, there are millions of users that push back. Whether it be their initial design change or the new variety of reactions, the Facebook population does not always deal with change in the most appropriate ways. And when it comes to the freshly-released Facebook Live Videos function, users are sticking to their change-aversive ways.

Fortunately, like most Facebook changes, you can unsubscribe in the click of a button…or four. Just follow the steps below to turn off notifications for all Facebook Live Video activity.

Open Settings

If you ever have a problem with social media, start with this step. You’d be surprised at what you can change through this magical page on your favorite sites.

Select Notifications

If you want to stop being annoyed by anything on Facebook, this is a great place to start. You can remove pesky birthdays, comment-riddled threads and much more.

Go to “On Facebook”

Your Facebook notifications pop up on everything from your email to your phone. But if you want to get rid of Facebook Live Video notifications, you need to do it in Facebook.

Turn Off Live Video Notifications

You have made it to the mountain top. All you have to do to stop getting notifications from Facebook Live Videos is turn off “Live Videos,” coincidentally located at the bottom of the list. Don’t let this deter you from reaching your goal of unbothered Facebook scrolling.
