Konversai (Los Altos, CA)

Konversai combines the expansive marketplace of the internet with social networking to make learning new skills easier. You can use Konversai as provider or a seeker, meaning you can teach others, learn from others, or do both. Providers can choose to profit off their knowledge or give a lesson for free. Seekers can schedule appointments from within the app and choose to have them in-person or over a video call.

Anyone, anywhere can learn something from its global knowledge marketplace. There are thousands of topics to search through, including DIY, foreign languages, life skills, and more.

Qebot (San Francisco, CA)

Logging in and out of accounts all day can eat up a lot of time, but not with Qebot. Qebot is an all-in-one business platform that streamlines the everyday online tasks of a business in one place. Once you provide the content, Qebot does the rest. It makes profiles across social media platforms manageable by standardizing your business information across platforms so that you don’t have to change your information individually on each account.

The social media feature also allows businesses to schedule posts, measure analytics and monitor competitor’s pages. Qebot manages the relationship between your business and your audience through its email marketing feature and reputation management tool. The tool searches user-review sites like Yelp to alert you to changing attitudes and allow you to respond directly and quickly through the platform. No time to make a website? No problem. Qebot will create an accurate and SEO optimized website for you from your account information.

Khonsu (Erie, PA)

Vacation time is a precious resource, don’t waste it by spending two hours pitching a tent! Khonsu makes easy-to-assemble tents, or tents that don’t make you tense, so that you can enjoy more outdoors time.

The tents come with the poles already in place. All you have to do is crank a mechanism at the base of each pole to stiffen it and you're ready to go. This tech eliminates the usual hassle of inserting the poles into the tent canvas and lets campers to spend more time camping.

YourBill (Newcastle upon Tyne, UK)

Whether you’re self-employed or a small business, the YourBill bookkeeping platform saves time and money by simplifying the most time-consuming parts of finance so that entrepreneurs can get back to what they do best. The invoicing feature makes creating and sending invoices a snap and managing past invoices simple.

On the expenses side, YourBill logs, manages and recurs regular expenses so users never miss a bill. YourBill also organizes financial data through the reporting tool and displays it clearly on the dashboard. Perhaps best of all, these features are accessible from anywhere because your account information is stored securely in the cloud.

PonyApp (Palo Alto, CA)

Equestrians agree, caring for horses can be as demanding as caring for small children; and the similarities don’t end there. They both can be finicky, lovable and unable to tell you about their health. The PonyApp allows horse owners to keep track of their horses and stay organized with helpful reminders.

Useful to riders with a single horse or full stable, the app allows users to create a profile for each equine including its registration information, vaccination records and daily activities. Users can set reminders and pay for monthly care services, like grooming, easily and directly from their phones. Lastly, the PonyApp connects users with other horse lovers through a feed of horse-related news, results and videos from top riders and events.
