Pro offers a batch of key features for streamlining your organization: The pipeline automation tools alone with likely more than pay for the cost of this plan, but it also includes reports, dashboard customization, recurring payments, and landing pages, all of which offers low-cost ways to better connect with potential clients. Pro is a great plan for a new and rapidly growing business.
As far as other CRMs go, the Keap Pro plan is most closely comparable to the Pro plan from Freshmarketer. They both offer a similar set of features for only email marketing, although Keap provides a lot more contacts. Plus, Keap has those built-in sales features, so it might be worth it to stick with Keap if that’s what you need.
For sales, the Keap Pro plan is similar to Enterprise plans from Salesforce and HubSpot, but obviously offers a lot less, so you probably want to stick to one of the more reputable options, unless you really need those marketing features.
Keap Max Plan

The Max plan starts at $199 per month for 2,500 contacts, with every user after the first again costing an additional $29 per month. Prices remain tied to the number of contacts, with the same tiers: $223 per month at 2,501 contacts, $254 per month at 3,501 contacts, $299 per month at 5,001 contacts, and $359 per month at 7,501 contacts, and so on until four million, which is the contact limit.
The feature list isn’t impressive for Max, despite the price hike. This plan does add discount codes, upsells, and marketing analytics, along with the extra user included, but that doesn’t seem like enough to warrant the serious upsell.
The most comparable CRM option to the Keap Max plan is the Elite plan from Zendesk Sell. Keap is great for email marketing, but Zendesk Sell provides access to other marketing channels, like social and content, so it’s probably the better option overall. Those marketing features are the gamechanger though, so it’s all about what you need.
For marketing, the closest in comparison is likely the Enterprise plan from Freshmarketer. They’re both aimed at email marketing, but Freshmarketer provides a lot more when it comes to website functionality, which can be helpful for directing potential customers to the right place. Still, Keap offers those sales features built in, so it’s worth considering both depending on your needs.
Does Keap Have a Free Plan?
No, Keap does not include a permanent free version of any of their plans. The closest you’ll be able to get is their 14-day free trial. This trial is available for the just the Pro plan, but not for the Max plan. No credit card information is required for the trial, although your email address is required.
We’d recommend putting together a list of features you’ll need to try or ease of use specifications, so that you can use your 14-day trial period to figure out if Keap meets your needs. Since you won’t need to enter your credit card info, you won’t have to worry about automatically signing up for the software service at the end of your trial.

Keap offers an easy to use service with a reasonable range of features. It’s not the cheapest CRM service out there, but it’s definitely not the costliest one either. In the end, it’s tough to muster up a ringing endorsement of the service, but you could certainly do worse.
