You can get almost anything delivered in New York City. Thanks to GetMyRx app, New Yorkers will be able to get their medication delivered to their doorstep too.

The Miami-based mobile technology company announced its smartphone app is available to New Yorkers. The GetMyRx app allows patients to order new prescriptions or refills in seconds, confirm the copay upfront and get their medications delivered the same day at no extra charge. GetMyRx has teamed with Health Mart, owned by McKesson health solution company, and nationwide pharmacy franchise with more than 3,400 independently owned stores and a strong presence in New York City.

“By working with GetMyRx, our independent pharmacy network can gain a competitive edge and deliver an unmatched customer experience that is a first-of-its-kind in the industry,” says Eyad Farah, Senior Director of Pharmacy Solutions Development at McKesson.

New Yorkers will not only get to skip the waiting line of pharmacies, but also choose from their preferred local pharmacy to get same-day delivery.

The GetMyRx app can be downloaded for free in the App Store.
