Unfortunately, the 50% off Wix plans sale has now ended, but you can still get 10% off Wix Premium plans with the code TAKE10, which means you can be up and running for as little as $15.84 per month. If that’s still too much, we’d suggest signing up for the free Wix plan or checking out the best cheap website builders we’ve tested and ranked for budget-conscious users.
With more businesses moving online than ever before, Wix offers an opportunity to get ahead of the competition. In fact, with our own independent research and user testing suggesting that Wix is the best website builder on the market, you can rest assured knowing it’ll be an excellent tool to assist you along your online journey.

How Much Can You Save on Wix Premium Plans with the Discount?
When Wix’s most lucrative deal is active, budding website owners can save 50% on three of Wix’s pricing plans. There are only two catches: the savings only apply to annually billed plans, and users are only able to take advantage of the savings for a limited time.
That’s right, Wix’s 50% discount only applies to its Core, Business, and Business Elite plans, which means you can’t get access to the Light plan for a lower price. Still, it only costs $17 per month, or $15.84 per month with our special deal, which is a pretty good deal as far as general website building costs are concerned. It’s even cheaper than Squarespace’s competitively priced Personal plan, which retails at $16 per month.
Remember, while the 50% deal may have ended, you are still able to take advantage of Tech.co’s 10% Wix discount all year round. Before you enter TAKE10 at checkout, however, have a leaf through our Wix pricing guide to work out which plan is best for you.

How often does Wix have sales?
Wix used to run discounts and sales quite regularly, however securing a discount or sale in 2024 is now far more rare, so don’t waste time using the code TAKE10 to secure 10% off today.
We suggest you check the Wix site regularly if you’re eager for a bigger discount, but we can’t say for sure when that will be.
The hope is obviously that Wix will follow its 50% off deal with an equally tasty Black Friday sale, so watch this space.
Is Wix a Good Website Builder?
Wix is our top-rated website builder, based on our in-depth research, which combines independent testing with user feedback. In fact, here at Tech.co, we put every website builder through a series of stringent user tests to work out their USPs, which ones you should bother with and which you shouldn’t — and Wix scored better than any of its rivals.
Wix performed very well in our research, beating out Squarespace, Shopify, and GoDaddy across multiple categories, including features, value, ease of use, and help and support. What’s more, boasting an industry-leading app market that grants users access to over 300 integrations, the software is also much more customizable than similar website building platforms.

Thanks to improved blogging features and growing multilingual options, Wix’s score has increased slightly since our previous round of testing and product research too, suggesting that the web builders offering is only getting stronger year by year.
We also love Wix’s ease of use, particularly because of the ADI functionality through Wix ADI. Wix also provides stellar customer support and offers a comprehensive help center for its users. Plus, due to its massive feature selection for such a low price, Wix offers some solid value for the cost — meaning that this 50% off deal really does offer fantastic value.
So, whether you need to build an online store or simply a promotional business website, Wix would be our top recommendation.

- Steep price increase for scaling businesses with most expensive plan at $159 per month

How Does Wix Compare to Other Website Builders?
Wix is the best website builder in our research, but there are other solid choices out there. Squarespace is the most comparable option, offering lots of features at a similar price point, while prioritizing design functionality more than Wix, so it’s better for those that need a beautiful website. Shopify is another excellent option for ecommerce businesses, offering advanced features for online stores that can handle big inventories.
To determine which website builder is best, we put them all through stringent independent tests and assessments, including ease of use tests using a panel of participants of varying degrees of expertise. We also rate the features, value, and quality of the templates offered by each.

Businesses can no longer get 50% off their Wix website builder plans, but to secure 10% off, you need only follow a few simple steps.

Once you’ve checked out, all that’s left for you to do is create your own custom Wix website.
