First, you’ll have to download the Motive Fleet App, and once you’ve created a profile, you can head straight to Devices and then Install Vehicle Gateway. Then, scan the barcode on the device to register it on the app.

An ELD must meet a strict set of DOT compliance criteria from the FMCSA. This includes:
- Log and send records for the driver’s current 24-hour period
